Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Seasonal Fireplace Cleaning Technician to join our team. As a chimney sweep technician, you will perform fireplace and chimney cleaning, inspections, and minor repairs while upholding the highest industry standards. This role requires extensive daily travel (up to 200 miles) to serve clients across the Dallas region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough chimney and fireplace cleaning, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.

• Provide excellent customer service, addressing client questions and concerns professionally.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in excellent condition.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

• Document services performed and maintain accurate records.

• Travel up to 200 miles daily to service client locations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior chimney sweep or related trade experience is a plus, but not required. Comprehensive training provided.

• Education: Trade school background preferred; no college degree required.

• Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license.

• Background: Clean criminal background check required.

• Skills & Attributes:

• Dependable, reliable, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

• Honest and professional demeanor.

• Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively.

• Physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting and working at heights.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay: Negotiable based on experience.

• Commission Package: Performance-based commission offered after successful completion of probationary period.

Requirements:

• Ability to travel up to 200 miles daily (fuel/mileage reimbursement provided per company policy).

• Comfortable working in various weather conditions and at heights.

• Must pass a criminal background check.

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
